Shrek!
There a little film about a green ogre and his pals coming out this week. They run around getting into all sorts of japes, tomfoolery and even ballyhoo. It is a lot of fun.
Apparently it was made using something called animation, and a lot of very talented people worked really hard on creating the high jinks showcased therein.
The steps to entertainment success are:
1) purchase a ticket (or lots)
2) watch and enjoy
3) repeat 1) and 2)
Thanks!

Hey kevan, I caught an advance screening of Shrek 3 last night at the metereon in San Francisco. WOW. There is some crazy humor in there that I did not expect. And the animation was also really nice, I loved the king's deathbed scene.

I actually came on here just to ask about that scene -- any idea who animated it, Kevan? It had to get talked about as people saw it being completed...

Hey guys, thanks for the nice comments!
I believe the Kings shots were done by Sean Mahoney and Eric Lessard. Eric's an AM mentor now, while Sean is now an Anim Sup. Woo!

I just checked it out in a search and an article online about Sean Mahoney credits him with the "king's death scene."
Three friggin' cheers. That man is definitely getting a drink on me if he wants one.
