  • i quite like the style of the DW movies! (except for Sharkstale......*shudder*)
I looooved Madagascar, so i realy dont know what that guy is going on about.
Just cuz he doesn't like the style, doesn't mean that it's not artistic or visually pleasing.
People have different tastes, and he should know that.
I dont like some of the art on his blog, but it doesn't mean it's not well done.

  • pretty tactless as far as comments go. an opinion is one thing, but slander? especially from a tepidly uninteresting blog in the first place... oh well. i guess it doesn't matter what people think as long as it works and dw's system has worked quite well.

  • Hey Man,

I think Over the Hedge looks just fine. In fact I'm digging the character designs. And I'm a cartoon nut from way back.

    Don't sweat it.

  • In a weird way it's kind of a backhanded concern...i.e., "You poor bastards. We know you're talented. Tell me how, and I'll help you escape from the prison that is this horrid surface, which pays no mind to your incredible abilities!"

He just doesn't realize he's in the minority about disliking the surface.

  • Dreamworks Animation is not known for great storytelling.

The art is beautiful but where's the story?

    I laughed once during Madagascar.

    A Christmas Caper was funnier.
